Granite Falls, WA, is home to some of the most charming older homes in the region, think thick brick walls, original masonry fireplaces, and the kind of craftsmanship that turns a kitchen into a family’s heart. At Mendoza Kitchen Remodeling Corp, we specialize in breathing new life into these spaces without losing what makes them special. Whether it’s restoring a 1920s brick-lined kitchen or updating a 1970s galley to modern standards, we handle the quirks of older homes like we’ve lived in them. Our team knows that a kitchen remodel in Granite Falls isn’t just about cabinets and countertops; it’s about respecting the history of the house while making it work for today’s needs. We’ve seen how a well-planned kitchen renovation can double a home’s value, especially in a town where character matters as much as function.
What sets us apart isn’t just our eye for detail, it’s our hands-on experience with the specific challenges of older homes in this area. Granite Falls’ climate, with its wet winters and dry summers, can take a toll on wood, masonry, and even the structural integrity of a kitchen’s layout. We’ve fixed everything from sagging brick fireplaces to water-damaged subfloors, and we know how to future-proof your remodel so it lasts. Our process starts with a no-pressure consultation where we walk through your space, point out potential pitfalls (like hidden plumbing or load-bearing walls), and give you a clear plan with no surprises. No generic blueprints here, just practical solutions tailored to your home’s bones.
When you choose Mendoza for your kitchen remodel, you’re not just hiring a contractor, you’re getting a partner who treats your home like it’s theirs. We work with local suppliers to source materials that match the era and style of your house, whether that’s reclaimed wood for cabinetry or period-appropriate fixtures. And because we also handle bathroom remodeling in Granite Falls, we can often bundle projects to save you time and money. Our reputation in town isn’t built on flashy ads or before-and-after photos, it’s built on the fact that our work stands up to the test of time, just like the homes we remodel. If you’re ready for a kitchen that’s as durable as it is beautiful, let’s talk.
Not all kitchen remodelers know how to work with older brick fireplaces, masonry liners, or the quirks of pre-1980 construction. We do. Our team has spent years fixing and updating homes in Granite Falls and nearby towns like North Bend, where older homes with character are the norm. We know which materials hold up in our climate, how to reinforce original brickwork, and when to modernize without losing what makes your home special.
You’ll get a detailed estimate upfront, with no hidden fees for fixing problems we uncover during your kitchen remodel. If your masonry liner needs relining or your original plumbing can’t handle modern appliances, we’ll tell you before we start. Our goal is to give you a kitchen that works for your life, not one that leaves you with regrets. And if you’re also tackling a bathroom remodel, we’ll coordinate both projects so you’re not dealing with two different crews.
We’re fully licensed to work in Washington, insured for your protection, and we stand by our work with warranties on labor and materials. That means if your new cabinetry starts to warp from Granite Falls’ humidity or your masonry repair fails, we’ll fix it, no excuses. We also offer free estimates, so you can see exactly what your kitchen remodel will cost before we break ground. And if you’re unsure about a repair, we’ll explain your options in plain terms.
We know how frustrating it is to wait for a contractor, especially when you’ve got a leak or damaged masonry that’s getting worse. That’s why we offer same-day estimates for emergencies and prioritize Granite Falls homeowners. Whether you need a quick fix or a full kitchen remodel, we’ll treat your project like it’s our own home, because it is. And if you’re also considering a bathroom renovation, we’ll schedule both projects efficiently so you’re not dealing with multiple crews.
